Dear Terry,

From:

"As you read through the following pages, you will be stunned to learn that what we Christians do for Sunday morning church did not come from Jesus Christ, the apostles, or the Scriptures. Nor did it come from Judaism. Shockingly, most of what we do for "church" was lifted directly out of pagan culture in the post-apostolic period. To be more specific, the great bulk of our church practices was spawned during three time periods: The early post-Constantinian era (324 to 600), the Reformation era (16th century), and the Revivalist era (18th-19th century). ......"

This is not the old Frank.  Since the few short responses that I had from Frank, before I mailed him Alan Knight's book, and from his previous books, I am glad to see that his awareness has expanded.  He used to accept the Nicene Creed and other early political/church policies.  His eyes must have been opened, and his foundations unsettled.  I am happy to see his development.

It sounds like Frank is a modern day "Reformer."
