Are you suggesting that clean animals go to Heaven and
unclean animals go to Hell, or do you contend that they all
go to Heaven since nothing ever truly dies? Would Heaven
be Heaven with rats and roaches? Some people feel about
dogs the way my wife feels about mice. Heaven would not
be as nice for them if dogs were there. By the way, it says
in Revelation, chapter 22, that they won't be.
I do not think that God concerns Himself with animals. They are disposable products, like trees and turnips and truffles, put here
for us to use,( Genesis 1:26.) As a matter of fact, it was God
who killed the first animal. The hide was used to clothe a couple
of sinners.
I truly hate to point these things out to you, as you obviously
love animals, and I can understand that. My daughter's dog
got run over a short time ago. It's spine was broken and it's
entrails were hanging out. It was in pain and had to be destroyed,
but I still cried when I had to shoot it. I liked that dog more than
I like some people, but he ain't in Heaven. He is taking the old
dirt nap, and that is as far as he is goin'.

Okay, how do you �understand� our souls to be different from animals�? I think a soul is intellect, emotions, and will: all of which animals have. Isn�t our soul that goes to heaven? Why would God create a living thing to destroy it? I have the impression that God never destroys a life, once created. For example, don�t we believe that human souls live forever (either UP or DOWN). So why wouldn�t animal souls live forever? Izzy

Animals do not have souls as we understand the word. When they die it's the end of the road. Either a stain on the pavement or a blob in the septic tank, unless of course, you are a frog. In that case, there is always the chance that you will end up a prince.
