against polygamy. The official doctrine of
the LDS church is
against polygamy.

This is very odd. The founders of the Mormon Church
believed in polygamy? When
preaching in front of the Mormon Temple during conference, you will find a
small group of men that holds unto the literal teaching of Joseph
Smith. In regards to blacks,
polygamy, etc. and they believe that this present Church has more than
veered off course. I
encourage those that could attend to go to the conference in April and
talk with these men. It might
be an education to understand what Smith and Young held. I�ve spent hours with them and
brought over Mormons to them and they can eat them up. So when you write, �The official
doctrine of the LDS church is against polygamy� I can only say�well
now. But was that true during
Smith and Young? Have they
changed because of government�or would they rather please God more than
man??
