Then why do they still have D&C 132 ?
Why does Official Declaration 1 not condemn or suspend the doctrine?

It seems to me it is not a command just advice!
Why did 2 Church Presidents get convicted for "Unlawful Cohabitation" after the 1862 Morril act?
In 1866 President John Taylor age 78 married a 26 year old in violation of the Morril act.
Mormon Church President Joseph F. Smith presented what historians have called the "Second Manifesto" on 7 April 1904. Again denying Polygamy.
DC 132:4 I reveal unto you a new and an everlasting covenant; and if ye abide not that covenant, then are ye damned
What does everlasting mean?
Ever hear of Brian Mitchell? Elizabeth Smart's "husband" Brian was a Temple Rec Mormon. Yes he was eXed but this is what the LDS church turns out. There are many more mass murderers, kooks etc. They were Temple rec's, but "progressed" past standard church doctrine. Why not when you are told you will become a god, why not now? You can recieve personal revelation, why not take Elizabeth? This is the FRUIT of Mormonism. Most of these kooks, see the DC132 has never been removed, it does say it is an everlasting doctrine. It is Everlasting life; that is a continuation of your seed forever.

This is very odd. The founders of the Mormon Church believed in polygamy? When preaching in front of the Mormon Temple during conference, you will find a small group of men that holds unto the literal teaching of Joseph Smith. In regards to blacks, polygamy, etc. and they believe that this present Church has more than veered off course.. I encourage those that could attend to go to the conference in April and talk with these men. It might be an education to understand what Smith and Young held. I�ve spent hours with them and brought over Mormons to them and they can eat them up. So when you write, �The official doctrine of the LDS church
is against polygamy� I can only say�well now. But was that true during Smith and Young? Have they changed because of government�or would they rather please God more than man??
