Would it help this discussion to distinguish between inspiration (inspired scripture) and revelation?
Personally, I do not believe that God has inspired or is inspiring any more scripture since the close of the Book of Revelation.
However, God has not stopped revealing His mind and purposes to people. His revelation is manifested in creation, conscience, the prophets, scripture, His Son, the Holy Spirit, spiritual gifts given to believers, current events as history unfolds, the preaching of the Gospel, the teaching of the scriptures etc.
No revelation of God will ever contradict scripture, but can be and often is in addition to it.
Would you agree/disagree?
