It was not the case at the San Diego temple...it was more or less a guided tour. No random roaming allowed. I am not saying that there was anything being hidden, just that we were not allowed to roam at will and snoop around. At that time I didn't feel the desire to explore other than what they wanted to show us, so it was no big deal to me..

DAVEH: That was not true of the Portland Temple, Perry. When it opened, there was no part of it that was not accessible to the general public. They did have ushers posted to make sure nobody did anything nefarious though.
