DAVEH:  I can see your perception that they are contradictions.  Why do you think they don't bother me, Perry?  Do I really seem that stupid to you?  For those who think they can convert me away from Mormonism......hasn't it occurred to them that their approach is lacking something?  As I said before, IF I were trying to sell something to somebody, the last thing I'd want to do is offend them by pointing out all their (perceived) weaknesses before I could explain the virtues of the product I'm selling them.  That's about the best way I can think of of killing the sale before the sales pitch is even made. I am not trying to SELL you anything. YOU ALREADY BOUGHT THE FARM!
DAVEH:  So Kevin......IF that is true, then why do you persist in pushing something of which I have no interest?  You sure sound like a snake oil salesman to me.....   :-)
I am just here to WARN you that you did not get what you bargaineds for. The repossesing agent is not far behind. There will be a day of Reckoning! DAVEH:  Perry, as I have repeatedly said before, I'm not in TT to talk about Mormonism.....either it's virtue or (perceived) vices.  If I want to read material antagonistic to the Church, I've got a web browser and know how to use it.  So when somebody posts anything not of interest to me (and anti-LDS material is not high on my interest list), I just tend to ignore it and move on to something I find interesting. When you Buy a car do you exhibit this same behavior?
DAVEH:  As a matter of fact, Kevin......Yes.  The harder somebody tries to sell me something, the harder I resist.  I have instituted a shop policy that I will not purchase anything from an unsolicited salesman....IOW, if they contact me, they automatically are not eligible for making a sale.  I much prefer to purchase from those who I approach first.  So Kevin.......If and when I get the urge to find derogatory material on the LDS theology, I may (or may not, depending on whether I communicate well with you) choose come to you and then I will listen to your criticisms.  Until that time though, you seem to be trying to sell me something I'm not interested in buying.
Do you IGNORE any antagonistic information? Did you buy a Corvair Dave? Were you a Proud owner of a unsafe car?  Would you buy property in LOVE Canal? What do the naysayers know anyway! Those guys are evil all that stuff about carcinogens, I don't care to hear it!How does an intelligent man, get like this?
DAVEH:  I never claimed to be an "intelligent man".  Some may prefer to think of me as more stubborn than "intelligent".  To answer your question though.....perhaps I am that way because of salesmen who remind me of you.
DAVEH:  Most of that stuff has been around much longer than those who post it.  For the most part, it is recycled material that lost its flavor long ago. Most of this is NOT recycled. It is the product of years of study. I do not cut & paste.I have most of the books I quote, probably 99%. I have studied these books. Besides even if it had been around since the INVENTION of the LDS church, the data stands or falls on it's own merit. It is True or it is not. The really sad part is that when faced with this data, LDS say the messenger is "prejudiced" (so what has that to do with the data?) That is old info, it is recycled, you can safely ignore that! Why is there NAYSAYERS since day one?Can you produce ONE quote, or naysayer from the time of the ressurection, that denied such? There were false teachers since the time of Christ.Where were the naysayers? DAVEH:  Believe what you want, Perry.  (You seem to anyway, despite anything I might say.)  Has it ever occurred to you that I don't have a lot of problems with much of what is said in TT to attack my beliefs?   As I see it, those who want to denigrate LDS theology goes to great lengths to find contradictory statements, perceived doctrines that are blasphemous, outlandish, seemingly contradict popular Christian thought or Scripture.   Apparently they think that we (LDS folks such as myself) will see it in the same light as they perceive it.  But I don't think that happens at all.  I have a different perspective that is not looking for the negative contrasts in my believes, but rather sees the harmony (logic, if you will). So why can't you share the LOGIC with us? Why do you couch me in terms of "going to great lengths" & "denegrating"You seem to have no problem "denigrating" anyone who attacks your church. Is attacking FALSEHOOD a direct attack on you?Is it still "DENIGRATING" if the statements are TRUE?Why can't you answer simple questions?
DAVEH:  Because the  many of those you ask do not serve my purpose for being on TT.LDS Prophets provide a fountain flowing wide of gaffs, untruths, unplausible denials, outlandish answers, contradictory stements, unProphetic directions, and silence when it comes to Prophecy. No need to go to great lengths.DAVEH:  And why not?  To me, dumping a ton of material on me that I have little interest in reading is futile.

Sorry there are TONS of ERRORS, CONTRADICTIONS, FALSE TEACHINGS. It is a SMORGASBORG of ERROR! In your heart of hearts you do know there is a problem, do not ignore them to your own peril.
DAVEH:    Have a happy day, Kevin.   :-)
