I did comment yesterday but I see my words didn't make it....
so will try again .... No I don't believe Genesis 1:27 refers to
a biological image because God is Spirit.  A&E were also
primarily spirit beings with a nature and character like God
from which they fell.  The ONLY way back now is through
Christ.

Do you mean that 'the image of God', below, is not in a 'biological' category?
Or, do you think it is (in a 'biological' category)...How does a human minus the
'animal instinct' remain 'a part of the animal kingdom'?
