DAVEH: Hey Perry....When you write to DaveM, I assume you mean DavidMiller. Apparently you are using his name to address me?

Sorry, DaveH...a simple typ-o-matic error.

DaveM,

I believe that there is more to it than meets the eye; much that we don't understand at this point about spiritual bodies. His body obviously appeared as flesh and bones to Thomas, and the other people in the closed room, and he he ate food, so there must at some level be a "natural" consistency, but also He entered a room that was closed with the same body, could come and go at will, which speaks of a nature that we do not understand. Perhaps when in the earth dimension it appears as flesh and bones, but when in the spiritual dimension it takes on or exhibits other qualities. I guess I will just have to wait to fully understand the nature of our resurrected bodies! How exciting that new age of discovery will be!

DAVEH: You pretty well avoided my questions, Perry. I'm interested in knowing if you believe Jesus has or possesses a physical body consisting of flesh and bone today??? And to extrapolate my curiosity, do you think you also will have such a body (of flesh and bone) after you are resurrected? (And to add another related question, do you think all people---whether good or bad---will be resurrected with such bodies of flesh and bone?)

I pretty much laid it out above. It sounds like you are trying to corner me into saying that Jesus' resurrected body is either flesh and bones or it is not, when I think it is a mixture of physical and spiritual in a way that is not clear to us.

I am not sure about whether all people will have resurrected bodies, although I have always thought that the unsaved would not be resurrected, but their souls are still eternal. (I prefer "saved" and "unsaved" rather then "good" or "bad". Saved and unsaved reflect our position based on our belief in the Savior, while good and bad are subjective terms from man's viewpoint. There are many "good" people who, due to their unbelief, will be unsaved).
