Judy, FYI, Ron Reagan got saved while he was President. (Much like Lincoln.)  He didn’t have time to get as perfect as we all are before he died, having come late to the faith.  I’m still extremely proud of him. For instance, they both looked to astrologers, he from before the marriage and she came to depend upon them later.  In fact this was one expense that Nancy Reagan paid out of pocket while they were at the White House where most everything was a perk and free (including her clothes and her travelling hair dresser).  He did not attend Church, he would say that his ranch in California was a cathedral with vaults going into the sky.  He loved a joke and his humor in private was said to be ribald.  The Reagans were estranged from at least two of their children for years at a time and family relationships were nonexistent at least until the end when things did appear to come together.  What Ronald Reagan was the master of is communication. He understood oratory and the use of humor, the pregnant pause etc.  I'm sure he was well-meaning but a follower of Christ??  Why is the professing Church so easily impressed and where is discernment?  .  judyt
