Every state at one time had one prison.  California  now  has at least thirty, and is constantly building more.  Yeah, we've improved a lot.  Bill Clinton was a greater president than George Washington.  Both were the people's choice at the time.  That alone should tell you how much improved we are. For instance, they both looked to astrologers, he from before the marriage and she came to depend upon them later.  In fact this was one expense that Nancy Reagan paid out of pocket while they were at the White House where most everything was a perk and free (including her clothes and her travelling hair dresser).  He did not attend Church, he would say that his ranch in California was a cathedral with vaults going into the sky.  He loved a joke and his humor in private was said to be ribald.  The Reagans were estranged from at least two of their children for years at a time and family relationships were nonexistent at least until the end when things did appear to come together.  What Ronald Reagan was the master of is communication. He understood oratory and the use of humor, the pregnant pause etc.  I'm sure he was well-meaning but a follower of Christ??  Why is the professing Church so easily impressed and where is discernment?  .  judyt
