Jt:Would you be so kind as to offer a summary of this 'thread' so that we might better understand your view and that of the one(s) with whom you're engaged? Thanks.

Slade says they were ignorant and unlearned because they were from Galilee and he said in a former message that it was a requirement for all Jewish men to memorize the whole Torah.  However, the Saducees in Acts 4:13 didn't act like they were dealing with men who knew the whole Torah and neither did the Pharisees of John 7:48 when Jesus was teaching at the temple and causing a division amongst the people ie: "Then answered the Pharisees "Are you also deceived?" Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him? But this people who don't know the law are cursed"  Note: This people would have been the people listening to Jesus at the temple who were Jews which would lead me to believe that whatever tradition Slade has been learning from conflicts with scripture.  Judyt

jt: You don't need to answer but I'm wondering why God's Word is wisdom only to those who live someplace
other than Galilee?  Unlearned says to me they have no education which is why they would appear ignorant.

If the disciples had memorized the whole Torah then how come the Saducees took note that they were "ignorant and unlearned men?" (Acts 4:13).

Because they were from Galilee.
