Do you see "wine drinking" as a sin, or were you imply that he drinks too much wine?
My position on wine drinking is the moderation position. Nevertheless, those disposed toward smoking, drinking, and cussing are not living Godly lives. That is what I was trying to communicate.
Note also, as Jonathan pointed out, that even such individuals can speak truth and have insight into matters, so that alone does not disqualify a person's comments. It has relevance in the context of arguing that a pro-life conservative Christian was persuaded by a certain study. A different picture emerges when we realize that the publisher of the entire story is a progressive, smoking, cussing lefty.
Peace be with you.
David Miller.
