That would be an invalid experiment because you are
excluding David's explanation of what he said. It was
offensive to you after you read it. But after David
explained himself you rejected his explanation. Take
him at his word. Believe that he meant it as an honest
question so that he could better understand where you
were coming from. Iron sharpens iron. And I am sure
that hurts when it is done. I have felt it.

Actually, very much to the opposite. You would be testing the explanation. DM exp[ects that no offense should be taken by words that would be "misunderstood" by any and all who read them. DM has asked for plain talk and saying what we mean. I am speaking out against mean sayings -- and I will stick to my position. When my children would bive me an explanation for the wrong they were doing, I didn't buy that either. DM has MUCH to offer this forum and I understand that he is as busy with personal ministry as any of us, but he fails to recognize just how much of a hindrance SOME of wording is to those who want to learn and love the Lord. He refuses to consider the notion that you say, as a communicator, what others think you say. His attempt at following the Christ is no less an obvious fact (to me) than what I see in others, but his "style" of opposition or debate is often not condusive to continued echange.
You don't want to join in the experiment because you know the results already.
