If your wife was talking to someone about her marriage to you, and she
characterized it as her marriage to you, would you appreciate it if someone
corrected her and said, "don't you mean John's marriage with you?" Think
about how God feels about this distinction.
So would you, John, characterize Abraham as an active or as a passive
participant in God's covenant with him?
Does anyone know why answers to such simple, important questions are
avoided?
Who is avoiding? All of a sudden, God is a woman and I have offended Him. I think not. But to the question, correctly stated, "So would you, John, characterize Abraham as an active or as a passive participant in God's covenant with him?
