No. I am sure in the mind of the guy who wrote to Luara, he was trying to make a point, being that he was an atheist and all. He was making fun of our traditions. Maybe the difference in how it was received is that, in my world (construction), I come across those who make fun of my thinking and commitment all the time. I don't get hurt by it, nor do I get angry. And if the insult is funny, I laugh. But they had better be able to receive as much as they give -- all with a smile on my glorious face. The fact that I am not easily offended by the world has given me many opportunities to share my faith. John |
