Eph 2 tells us we were all in that shape before embracing the truth and Heb 10:39 shows that it is possible to draw back to perdition as Judas apparently did. I believe it is John who speaks of 'many' antichrists that have gone out into the world.    SLADE: John 17:12 "...not one of them perished but the son [singular] of perdition..." That is intentionally escalating the discussion for the sake of winning the argument. You know well that I said, "There are some doctrines we should never allow compromise on, but there are far MORE doctrines that require us to give grace and say, "Interesting perspective... not mine, but interesting nonetheless." Original Sin, Trinity, Eschatology, Dispensationalism, the spelling of Heretic[k], etc." Take what I said within this context.
