IFF DM were to have written this otherwise, it might have read as follows: Romans 7&8 as I and, some others interpret them teach a form of dualism. However, some of the better godly NT scholars in the world do not so interpret these chapters. (i.e. NTWright, Gordon Fee). So then my (David speaking) take on this may in fact be quite incorrect.
