'Whitcomb'?? Yikes, David! Please don't TEACH anything on this subject.I'm
confident that you're not working from a 'Newtonian model' so take care not
to employ a 'Whitcombian understanding'.

I occasionally have students present me with a reading list for courses
(require & recommended). Often it is apparent that the professor is
thoroughly out of touch.
