There are other factors involved. Can one still be a believer and believe the Book of Mormon? I have read portions of the book of Mormon and from my Judaic background, it cannot be true. Does that mean why one who believes in the book is not saved? I dismiss the question.

In more than one place in God's word, we are warned not to add to or take from God's word.  The punishment is having your name removed from the book of life if I remember correctly.  Would you consider the BOM to be adding to God's word?  If so, are Mormons saved?
