Not mad or angry, G, just disappointed. To me, the Bible is the manual, the guide book. It tells us that Church is not an organization, but a living organism. You don't go to church, you are Church. The Church does not exist to provide employment for three hundred thousand preachers and their music directors and secretaries. It exists so that believers can edify one another (Build one another up, pray for one another and encourage one another to be a living witness to the saving power of Jesus Christ).
If you "go to church", you probably already know what I am talking about. Every denomination is a big business, a giant social club with paid performers. There are Christians there; good people, who are there because they think that is the way to do it, and even those who have been shown a better way have a hard time breaking with tradition. It is easy to love those people, they love the Lord and are sincere in what they do and how they live. Those people though are the minority. The building called church is full of people who refuse to give up their sin, or at best, give up all but their favorite sin. Soon, those there who are adulterers and thieves will be joined by homosexuals, and the church will continue to grow. The only trouble is, it won't be the Church with a big C. It will not be the bride of Christ. I find that very sad, and cannot be part of it.
