Why ask that question?   You have heard this before  -- where and when?   Speaking for myself, it came from the realization that I could not demonstrate a "fall" in terms of human nature in the life of Adam.   I do not believe in "plan B" creation theology.   To insist on calling such "pop theology" is to insult the teaching rather than deal with the issue, itself.
