J   Why can't Christians seem to see things the same if we are all indwelt with this mind-of-Christ-in-us capability? We do!   The truth is, I want to be right and to know the will of God and to have the mind of Christ on matters of truth; in fact, I think I do have these things, or I would not say or write a single word, because I don't want to be wrong and impervious to the will of God and the mind of Christ.   AND the truth is, I believe you desire and believe these same things for and about yourself.   My point is, Izzy, I am willing to say this about you and trust that it is true -- which then restricts my ability to claim a God's-eye view on matters on and about which we disagree. I may think I am right and you wrong, but I am reluctant to declare my thoughts from on high, as if I were speaking with the voice of God. Are you willing to do the same for me and others with whom you disagree? Or do you still claim for yourself and hold to this God's-eye view on reality?  Only prophets “declare from on high”.  I have not had many prophecies for the Body, as I do not have the office of prophet.  Apparently, neither do you.  Izzy   Bill
