jt: Is this argument about how bad you can be and still be used by God?

I found the list of "perverts" you posted which included Samson, Abraham, Paul, etc. to be extremely offensive JD. Everyone you named repented and some are mentioned in the hall of faith (Hebrews 11) so why do you keep identifying them with whatever failure they endured and overcame?

You may not like the way Kevin communicates but his point is well taken.  God may use men who are not totally perfected as yet but He never chooses perverts. When necessary He works in spite of them.  I wouldn't go so far as to say God can not reach people using the newer versions but if they are to grow into anything more than a baby believer they will of necessity have to lay them aside beccause the devil, the blood, and God's proper names will soon be history in them.

Your King James argument is invalid since he was not personally involved in the translation.  Commissioning it and participating are not one and the same and God's Word was not bound by Pharisee and Saducee - neither is it bound by the Church of England.  judyt

Does God use SEX Petrverts &Heretics in translation?

Well, he sure used King James, didn't he.   Your argument reminds me of a piece of Swiss cheese.   So, stop cutting the cheese and cut to the chase    -----------    list please.

And, if no list, then how about dealing the King James issue I have included here.   Or is this another issue that is beyond you?    While you are thumbing your nose at everyone else and all other translations,   you accept a pervert's bible,  embrace its  Episcopal heritage,  embrace its dated phraseology and blindly move on to the next point.   I already know you cannot do the list.   So how about dealing with this King James thing?   Let's see if we can get an answer from our Missionary Baptist opponent on that.
