Hi Izzy;   I agree that we need to discern in order to understand what is being said to us and what is being done to us. A good friend of mine frequently says, hearing is 10%, interpretation is 90%. What we hear gets filtered through our theology and our relationship with God. I think it's good to check out what we believe and what we hear in a community of believers. Love,  Caroline   No doubt, if one has doubts.  That’s why I’ve been in the Community of Bible Believers for around 40 years  Then, no doubt, the type of believers with which one chooses to associate will influence the type of advice/influence one receives.
