The belief that obedience means "just do it" Obedience is the character of our relationship with God.

Let me just list some of the things wrong with the "just do it" attitude. Ya'll have fun taking it apart. But hope springs eternal that some will register.
1) it is eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and not from the Tree of Life.
2) it means shutting down whatever it is in you that is saying, "Noooooo!" whether that voice is saying, stop this is not the right way to do it or wait this is not the right time or this is not what God wants!
3) it means ignoring all signals that are telling you to deal with certain things like unforgiveness or warfare or past pain.
4) it is joyless living. It is not the easy yoke and light burden of Jesus. It's pulling a cart with Satan cracking a whip but thinking you're working for the Lord.
5) it is self effort and self glory. It is allows us to be pitiless on those fools who aren't doing it well which is pride. It makes me think that because I can do it, so can everyone else and it ignores all other issues.
