This is really rich JD. Here I am advocating love for and obedience to the Lord (they go together like siamese twins if we love Him we will do what He says) all the time which you promptly wrest into "legalism and works" for whatever reason and no matter how many scriptures I post validating the fact that loving the Lord and doing what He says is normal Christian living you find some theologian or doctrine to negate them all.

So please tell me how you figure I the one who is stubborn and rebellious??  Yes the Lord is able to strengthen the weak in faith who are fearful of eating certain foods (but who love the truth and want to obey Him), God's strength is made perfect in weakness and He can cause these ones to stand but He will not make a silk purse out of a sows ear any more than you can make a generic doctrine out of Romans 14:4.

One verse can not negate the rest of the Bible and  God will still send a strong delusion on those who do not really love the truth enough to obey Him and who take pleasure in unrighteousness (2 Thess 10-12)

These words fly in the face of Romans 14:4.   Stubbornness and rebellion are not larger than God's forgiving
grace  --   but they sure are ugly little devils.   JD

I will stand or fall upon what I alone accept or reject and that's just the way it is JD - there will be no pastor
or self styled theologian standing beside me to hold me up so I determine to hear and obey the one who counts..
