Not bad advice from my experience, Iâm becoming a believer in avoiding letting the govât be involved at all in oneâs marriage. Being married by God vs married by the State; do you really need both to be legitimate? What do you think? Izzy
My wife and I were married twice 4 1/2 years ago --- on Sept 15, 2000 and then on Sept 24, 2000. The first time was with the atheists at the county offices (said with a smile on my face and my tongue squarely planted in my cheek -- but partly true) and, again, with friends and family on the 24th.
The obvious question? We waited until the 24th !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
