Because it is the law, of course.  Jd   What is the law? That you have to get married in a civil ceremony for it to be legal in God’s eyes?  I’m just thinking out loud here, JD. What about those who don’t see it that way?  I know their marriage isn’t recognized by the State, but should that matter to Believers? (Why am I asking you—your track record stinks!) J  Izzy
