I don't see Jesus leaving any admonition about history, culture, and  Word Studies in order to understand the meaning
of His Word.  Yet you have your theologians.   You quote your Greek scholars  (i.e. Strong's concordance).  You are constantly referring to "balance and context" like you are saying something that I am not when I use "larger context."     You have your eyes wide shut, my dear.  He sent the Holy Spirit to give us understanding.  I don't know what Kevin's response will be but I see the above qualifiers as an excuse to make the Word of God say what you want it to and conform it to strange and different doctrines rather than receive the "faith once delivered to the saints". "strange and different"  ??   Judy, you and I both know that much of what you espouse here on TT  would and is not taught by BSF.   Let's not pretend that I am the one out of the mainstream, here,   --   or any of my friends.  thinking that Jesus is not the Eternal Son,  denying faith as the point of salvation while   claiming that Adam was created for the Garden and nothing more,  that he and Eve were more "spirit beings" than physical,    fantasizing that you have a Spirit of Correctness when it comes to Bible study and have no need for any other assistance   ----------------    well,  shall I run those thoughts by the leaders of BSF to see what they think?   Actually, next Monday night,  when I go,   I think I will run these by the folks.   Want to bet on the outcome??? jt

Are you ever wrong about biblical ocnsiderations?   Have you ever changed you mind about biblical meaning since you have received this spirit of enlightenment?
