I am also a confused guy.  I am glad you had a good laugh but there was no dig and no humor intended.  What was so funny?

I absolutely love a good well placed dig.    That last phrase is a gem.   I am laughing so hard I can barely type.   You are good guy, Mr Terry.

We are probably getting too technical.   The "incarnation story"  means the whole picture -- to me.  I understand the "gospel"  to be the death, burial and resurrection, which, when fully understood, is the "good news."   At any event  -- I do not think any of this qualifies me as a humanist or someone whose doctrine is to be feared and/or opposed  .......................   right???

I do not have the faintest idea what a humanist might be.  Having made that clear,  though we often see things a little differently, I do not think you believe or preach anything that would affect your salvation, or anyone else's.
