By the way --  the brief was offered to Dr Anderson without Bill's name attached  -  only that it was written by a friend.   Good job, Resident Professor  -------------  we have two you know:  Ottoman and Taylorson

Subject: Re: [TruthTalk] Eternal Sonship

Why am I not surprised?  This is all so circular and one just feeds upon another.
I'd like to know just what target it is 'right on'  Since there is no economic trinity in
scripture these fellows may need their pipes cleaned.  One can not know God on
any other but His terms.  He hides Himself from some and reveals Himself to others.

A response from Ray Anderson after reviewing the brief article by professor Bill Taylor:
John:
The short essay on the trinity (eternal Father, Son, Holy Spirit) is right on target.
My former professor T. F. Torrance argued that if God as revealed to us through the Son is not identical with
God in his eternal being, then we introduce mythology into our epistemology. Our theological language as
well as our theology of atonement rests upon the economic trinity having ontological correspondence with
the immanent trinity. Complicated and somewhat abstract theological jargon, but essential to our knowledge
of God!
