The "Christ" of the Mormons:
"In the first place, according to justice, men could not have been redeemed from temporal death, except through the atonement of Jesus Christ; and in the second place, they could not be redeemed from spiritual death, only through obedience to the law." (Taylor, THE MEDIATION AND ATONEMENT)

Which is it Christ did it all as in Christianity or Christ did His part blaine does his part to finish the job as in mormonism.

Blaine:  Taylor's commentary as you have quoted above is in complete agreement with all Mormon doctrine--I don't even understand why your wrote it, unless it is because it contradicts what you personally believe.
Simply put, Mormons believe Christ redeemed all mankind from physical death, but spiritual redemption--that is, the extent to which we are spiritual vs carnal, --depends on obedience to the commandments, or, as Taylor puts it, to the law.  This implies different "mansions," or degrees of heavenly reward, or, as Mormons put it, different degrees of glory.  If you live a celestial law, you will inherit a celestial glory (the glory of the sun, which is one glory), if you live a terrestrial law, you will inherit a terrestrial glory (the glory of the moon, which is one glory), and if you live a telestial law, you will inherit a telestial glory (the glory of the stars, which all differ in glory and brightness).
It was revealed to Joseph Smith that those who inherit the lowest, or telestial glory, will be as numberless as the sands of the seashore, or the stars in heaven, and will suffer punishment in hell first before coming forth in the resurrection of the unjust.  Nevertheless they will be servants of God, and will inherit a kingdom of glory.  Those who inherit the two higher glories, will be redeemed w/o punishment, and will come forth in the resurrection of the just, with  Christ's atonement being sufficient for them.
A fourth category, those who cannot be cleansed from sin either by His atonement or by punishment, will be resurrected to abide and suffer in eternal hell with the devil and his angels, where their "worm dieth not."    The kingdom they inherit will not be a kingdom of glory.  These are they who sin against the Holy Ghost by shedding  innocent blood after they have had the heavens opened to them, and had a sure knowledge of Jesus Christ as the Son of God.  Judas Iscariot was probably one of these.
