What is idolatrous about the concept that God ordains the nations that rise
and fall? You are starting not to make any sense again.

What do you think, that somehow God lost control and the USA jumped out from
under his influence and did their own thing in Iraq? Is the USA somehow now
the Great Satan that is disrupting God's plans? Did we do something that
surprised God and took him off guard? Did God really want Saddam to
continue to be in power? Did God want evil to flourish and people to suffer
in Iraq and the surrounding region? Did God want Iraq to invade more
countries besides Iran and Kuwait and cause more destruction and suffering
to the people in those regions? Did God want more Kurds to be slaughtered?

Sorry for so many questions, but as you can see, I do not understand your
image of a God who is not in control. If God removed Iraq (Babylon) once
before when they oppressed the Israelites, why do you think he would not do
the same thing again in these last days? Are you forgetting Iraq's attack
on Israel itself during the Gulf war?

Peace be with you.
David Miller.
