LOL.  Where did you learn math?

((16.3 + 22) / GNI) = (38.3/GNI)

John says (38.3/GNI) is just about the same as (16.3/GNI) ?????  Do you 
really think that 38.3 billion is just about the same as 16.3 billion?

Now let's change GNI to per capita GNI by dividing by the population size to 
get the real individual sacrifice.  Then you are going to have to argue that 
greater sacrifice means more to the poor than greater amount.  That's like 
arguing that a dollar from a homeless man helps the needy more than a 
million dollars from a rich man!  Good luck.
