For the record, David, you haven't a clue as to what is ad hom -- haven't had one since I have been a part of TT. Here is a dictionary definition of that concept (yes, I know how to use one too):
"an argument directed to the personality, prejudices, previous words and actions of an opponent rather than an appeal to pure reason." Webster.
Your ".......another one of your meaningless tautologies" most certainly fits the definition. this is in addition to the fact that you use the word "tautologies" without regard to what the word means. If, in fact, you did not use a dictionary, my I suggest that you do so.
I rest my case.

For the record, John, there is no ad hominem argument in my post below. I spoke only toward your statements, not toward you personally. Identifying your statement as a tautology is not an ad hominem argument.
For what its worth, I did not use any dictionary for this very simple post, so please stop insulting my intelligence.
Peace be with you.
David Miller.

I don't major in double talk, DAvid. When I say that "....you do not agree in total with anyone," the point is clear and (IMO) without debate ..... your ad homs not withstanding. But, good try.JD

This does not mean that we see everything identically. If you are trying to say that nobody sees everything exactly in the same way, then that is another one of your meaningless tautologies, a statement which is true but which adds nothing to our mutual understanding.
