DAVEH:   I vaguely recall twisting a passage or two to inject a little humor into the TT fray.....and, I would denote such with a smilie.  Can't think of any specific instances at the moment, though.

However, there are times when some TTers may think I am twisting a passage, but I am in all seriousness not.  An example would be that I believe our Heavenly Father is literally the father of our spirits.  Another example would be when Scripture denotes Jesus as the Son of God.....I believe that literally.  Yet another instance that comes to mind is the implication that the Bible suggests we were created in God's image, and that we can become like God, as well as becoming one with God.....just as did Jesus......and as you know, I really do believe such.  So, I don't view that as twisting Scripture as others might think I do.....rather I view it as believing Scripture to a somewhat deeper level than others might.

I genuinely doubt that one the primary object of your attacks, namely DaveH, twists Scripture with intent. Say it ain't so, DaveH.
