 When you see the word "perfected," as used in Heb 10:14, what does that mean to you.  How are we to understand that we "have been perfected for ever by Christ?"    

 

 

Secondly,  with this verse in mind,  how have we been perfected for all time while being in the process of continuing sanctification?

Your question above is an illustration of this very point.   A couple of questions  --   which, of course,  your side will not answer:    do you deny that the KJ greek text says what it says?    When you see the word "perfected,"  do you think it always includes the concepts of growth and maturity?    the KJV actually states that we have been "perfected for ever."  Do you argue that this translation is in error?  If not  --  and how could you  --  on what theological grounds could this statement be true since the action of sanctification is not yet completed? 

cd: Perfection is viewed as complete-both are interchangeable depending how it is used in the structure of the sentence-Can you give me the example verse in which "Perfect is used? I can reply now and say-I have complete salvation in Christ-If I die I am promised heaven-if I remain I will move closer to the Holiness of Christ-with His help to completion (perfection). Sanctification is to be set aside for Holy work-I have been set aside for this work and will be set aside for this work but as resistance increases-I also increase in the likeness of Christ even to a point that even thoughts of the enemy cannot come to provoke me to dwell upon his filthy. Consider 1Jn 2:12-14-Here ,there are three levels of growth v.15 shows what one must give up to obtain this growth.James 1:4 also shows perfection (completeness) to be obtained thru patience. If I missed your point-please reiterate.
