Blainerb:  I think your statement above is good--there is more we do not know about the fall than we do know. There are several questions that come up in my mind-- for one thing, why was the tree that bore the fruit associated with their (A&E) sin called the Tree of  Knowledge of Good and Evil?    And for another, Why would God forbid them to partake of the fruit of that tree?
