'Please be careful' says David 'not to take the Lord's name in vain'??

DAVID:Do you believe yourself to occuply the 'chair of warning'? I've not failed to take note of those who regard you as a 'prophet' and some sort of 'king' (never fully explained) but, unless I misread it (you'll tell me I did, of course), youve made assertions identical to this on more than one occasion. Why didn't you warn yourself?

Please be careful to represent God accurately, as the Scriptures warn us not to take the Lord's name in vain. One day you will stand before God and tell
him that he is the One who has given you your point of view on faith. Can
you truly do this in good conscience and without doubt, or is it possible
that God will tell you that he gave you no such viewpoint?

Peace be with you.
