I agree with the Idea and in-fact we have put our own bid [1] for the IMAP 
integration because it is a project which interests us. 

I find the idea of Elveos better than other conventional methods because:

1. Its transparent to both service providers and donors.
2. It results in open source code and not a "closed-open" code which is then 
sold to make open (this failed miserably with openerp and us).
3. It is perfectly legal (IANAL) and sticks to the idea of Free Software and 
sharing.
