Igor, Thank you. I check my file, and mine was the same. So I took it upon me to check out a few more things. Such as NONE of my Linux computers have an eth0 under dev. I always just assumed it was there. So I went and manually configured ifcfg-eth0, and now I am pinging. I will probably do a reinstall and load tg3 from the get go, so Trustix can do all the configuring for me in case I forgot something.
Also, thank you for letting me know about the ServeRAID 7. The original one I was looking at had that, and now I am glad I did not choose that.
