My guess is that with one full-time developer (Nived), and a couple of part-timers (Ajith being one of them, Bipin maybe the other, both being full-time employed elsewhere I've heard), and limited hardware resources in the development lab (hardware is expensive in India), there's simply no room to test everything. I might be mistaken about my estimate of developer resources, but it's not like there's been a TSL-team lineup and introduction for a while, so it's kinda hard to tell. I also think the Project Manager of TSL still is Igor, the CO of Positive Software, because he was the one steering the ship when I left last January, and no other PM has been introduced. >> On a side note: >> If they hadn't thrown out the Viper developers, they would have a >> matured working Viper installer by now, instead they went forward to a >> new version of anaconda, without having people available that knew the >> differences between the two installers. > > Well, its always the same. Actually, those Viper developers weren't even expensive, they all were India based, and the few not getting fired, found new jobs in time. And after letting one member of the original European TSL team go, the rest of us went away faster than lightening, so there you go. :) They ended up with going from the original team of 3 guys in Norway and about 25 guys in India, to something like 1.5 guys in India, in less than a quarter.
