Sorry how do I not top-post if I want to continue a thread? What am I
supposed to do instead of hitting reply?

And regarding quoting my e-mail client is insterting "----Original
Message---...." what exactly is wrong with that? I skimmed the link you sent
me but do not see my offense.

Thanks!

virtual email users are ones that don't have a proper unix account

case if I ever had to rebuild the server then I would simply have to restore
the user accounts and the database right?

No, that would be a bad idea.. maildirs are in /var/mail/[EMAIL PROTECTED] on my
setup, only usernames and passwords lives in the db..
there are no "user accounts" as they are virtual..

As an aside, please do not top-post, and please, do quote properly..

you may want to take a look at this page;
