I agree.  I think our company would just expend the effort converting the
app to work in the new version. It's in the same line as the TDK, it's a
great 'nice to have', but I honestly don't think Turbine should be
targetting people who really need a TDK or Compatability mode.  The Turbine
dev team would probably spend just as much time/effort, if not more, in
creating the TDK/Compatability mode and supporting it, and in the end I
think it'll be frustrating for the Turbine developer and the client
developer.  The effort could easily be directed towards more core
functionality.

Even just a simple sample/example WAR application (like the one you build
with the TDK )containing the source code from _should_ be enough of an
introduction to people, so they can refer to code.  But good docs is the
key.  I can stick my hand up to help out with any docs.

There's obviously so much talent in the Turbine dev community here from what
I've been reading, I can just imagine once the roadmap has been agreed upon,
how good the output is going to be.
