I agree. I think our company would just expend the effort converting the app to work in the new version. It's in the same line as the TDK, it's a great 'nice to have', but I honestly don't think Turbine should be targetting people who really need a TDK or Compatability mode. The Turbine dev team would probably spend just as much time/effort, if not more, in creating the TDK/Compatability mode and supporting it, and in the end I think it'll be frustrating for the Turbine developer and the client developer. The effort could easily be directed towards more core functionality. Even just a simple sample/example WAR application (like the one you build with the TDK )containing the source code from _should_ be enough of an introduction to people, so they can refer to code. But good docs is the key. I can stick my hand up to help out with any docs. There's obviously so much talent in the Turbine dev community here from what I've been reading, I can just imagine once the roadmap has been agreed upon, how good the output is going to be. regards, Paul Smith -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:turbine-dev-unsubscribe@;jakarta.apache.org> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:turbine-dev-help@;jakarta.apache.org>
