One thing that might not be obvious from that post is that any bug fixes that have made it into the Fulcrum services need to be backported to jakarta-turbine-2. Whatever direction we head in after Turbine 2.x, I don't think there should be a TDK, as it will be quite a lot of work to maintain and support.
