Henning,

I know jason doesn't like half-assed things and doesn't intentionally
create half-assed things. I also know that maven is a project that
has evolved over time and is still evolving. It's also pre-1.0.

Instead of writing proposals and forming committees, jason wrote code
and gained a user-base for maven. Users contribute ideas, use-cases
and desires which are integrated into the project in an evolutionary
sort of way.

And yes, a lot of your ideas are good ones. And a lot of them are
ideas that we've had before but have not implemented yet. If you
would like to holler DO IT NOW!, go ahead. But, we'll just sit here
and keep writing code. If you want to write a proposale to form
a committee to vote upon the repo structure, go head. But, we'll
just sit here and keep writing code.

Eventually the project will evolve to fancy mature state. But,
right now, the few folks who actually write code have spent a
lot of time answering lots of ill-conceived and ill-informed
emails.
