Turbine stand-alone, used via TurbineConfig was a way to get
at the services. The services have been separate and if you need,
for example, the DBService than you will be able to use Fulcrum.
Turbine will effectively become a rendering mechanism that
utilized the Fulcrum services framework to gather and transform
data for rendering. The services and torque will soon no longer
be a part of turbine.
The only reason anyone used TurbineConfig was to use the services,
and you will be able to do the same thing with Fulcrum but it
will be much easier to use.
