So what are the plans here?
In one way I think that turbine has been very successfull. We have
attracted a lot of developers and it appears to be developing at a solid
pace.
However we have violated the central OSS philosophy of "release early,
release often". I want to use this on actual project but can't really
talk it up because the code is only available in CVS.
Jon mentioned on the jetspeed mailing list that we were 2 months from a
release. This is *bad* IMO.
I am +1 on getting a Turbine 1.0 out now even if it is missing some
packages (OPL?) that are in development.
Thoughts?
