I agree, but the reality is that not everyone has "good web GUI
designers"...;-)

Kevin, you are not hearing me...I AGREE! The problem is what we have TODAY.

Perl hasn't been a good solution for web apps since day one.

What I'm against is telling people not to use something TODAY. Especially
since we have willing developers that want to do this stuff. I want to
encourage people to do things with the technologies that they have available
to them today. When you first wrote Jetspeed, you did it your best without
Turbine. Now that Turbine is available to use, you use that...that is the
intelligent solution. When other technologies are ready to use, we will use
those as well...that is the intelligent solution.
